Mike received his Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Regis University. He brings to his practice a dedication to working with adolescents / young adults spanning diverse settings and families from across the country.
His practice intentionally focuses on the adolescent / young adult population due to his own turbulent teens, compelling him to be a resource for those struggling at such a pivotal time in their development.
Boulder
Mike has worked in a vast array of clinical settings including most recently as a Senior Therapist at Boulder Integrated Health, utilizing
​
evidence-based treatment plans that are customized and crafted for each individual and their specific needs. Mike also facilitates a weekly Family Systems group as well a Parent Support group in step with his systems lens.
Mike has also been a Senior Therapist at AIM House in Boulder for almost a decade, serving adolescents who are struggling with the transition into young adults. From facilitated goal setting and transition planning: Mike focuses focus on core issues impeding young adults from successful launches into adulthood, including Mood, Anxiety, Adjustment, substance and ineffective family communication.
Boston
Mike also had the honor of a three-year stint as an In-Home Therapist in Boston neighborhoods
and facilitating groups in an Intensive Out-Patient (IOP); addressing a diverse clientele’s substance abuse with the evidenced based Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA) Model.
Beginning
Mike's career began as an Out-patient therapist on the Child, Adolescent & Family Team of Mental
Health Partners of Boulder County.

Enjoying time with his family and friends, hiking and playing drums are some of Mike’s favorite pastimes.
